60 Love Songsが出た時モントリオールで院にいた人に、もちろんあれは知っているよ、と言われたことはある。彼は他のアルバムは一切知らないしファンでもなかったから、あのアルバムはやはり多くの人に祝福されていたらしい。１５万枚売ったというし。メリット氏がVillage Voice誌の表紙になったのもその頃だろう。バラの花束を持って月面に立つスティーブンメリット。

MFファンというとまた違う話で、州都Aでは会ったことがない。私の交友範囲の狭さこそがおそらく問題だけど。むしろ宇多田聴いてるアメリカ人とかが周りにいたような。。。（爆）
